Jackie is the founder of Realise Wellness, with over 15 years teaching experience in various primary and nursery school settings, understands the ever increasing number of pressures faced by children and how this can negatively impact their mental health and wellbeing.  Deeply saddened by how many of our children and young people are struggling with life and especially anxiety and stress related problems, she was inspired to combine her love for working with children and her passion for wellbeing.  Reiki, sound healing, EFT, yoga and other mindfulness techniques which are on offer with Realise Wellness, help alleviate many of these problems.

Through Realise Wellness, she hopes to empower children with a toolkit to go out into the world and face their challenges, enabling them to realise their true potential and let their light shine!

Looking back over her life she realises how Reiki could have been a wonderful support and benefit to her if only she had discovered it at those times.  In particular, her struggles with fertility, her emotional IVF journey and her challenges through pregnancy and coping as a new mum with a demanding baby.  She acknowledges what a benefit the beautiful practice of Reiki could have been on her life journey and would love to compassionately support and bless others by sharing this gift to enrich their life experiences.

During her down time, she enjoys being with family and friends.   Her greatest joy is in spending time with her 2 daughters!  She also likes travelling, gym classes, yoga, meditation, reading, and learning. She loves being out in nature and is always up for an adventure and as much laughter as possible!  Giving back to the community through volunteer work for a local playgroup (TOTs) and Rainbows/Brownies (Girlguiding) is also very important to her.
